Um filme abstrato feito por Hans Richter em 1923 é projetado em uma fotografia da Casa Modernista na Rua de Itápolis por Gregori Warchavski. Hans Richter era um artista alemão, morando em Berlim, experimentando cinema abstrato ao mesmo tempo que Warchavski no Brasil construía as primeiras casas modernistas do país. Nenhum deles tinha conexão direta com a Bauhaus, apesar do fato de que Warchavski estudou com Walter Groupious em anos anteriores e Hans Richter teve assistentes que estudaram lá.

An abstract film made by Hans Richter in 1923 is projected onto a photograph of the Modernist House at Itápolis Street by Gregori Warchavski. Hans Richter was a German artist, living in Berlin, experimenting with abstract cinema at the same time as Warchavski in Brazil was building the first modernist houses in the country. Neither of them had direct connection with the Bauhaus despite the fact that Warchavski studied with Walter Groupious in previous years and Hans Richter had assistants who studied there.
